For my birthday weekend, hubby and I ventured to Vancouver for a few days of sightseeing, recharging and catching up with good friends. The weekend turned out to be a winter wonderland. We had made a plan to visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge and didn’t let the snowfall stop us from having the most wonderful time.

If you haven’t been to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, I highly recommend you visit! The bridge hangs 230 feet above the Capilano River and is nestled into the most beautiful setting of evergreens and rain forest. Next to the bridge is the Cliffwalk which is a suspended walkway jutting out from a granite cliff over the Capilano River. Add pretty snow fall and Christmas twinkle lights and the Capilano suspension park is a magical, must see adventure!

We finished the day by warming up with a coffee by the fire at Bridge House across the street.
